The 1000 series is the workhorse of our housing designs. Being spacious enough for electronics interfaces, yet still cost effective for straight through designs it is the most versatile and widely used housing that we manufacture. It is molded from a specially engineered glass filled Nylon that has extremely high mechanical, electrical and thermal specifications. Inserts on both sides of the housing open the opportunity for branding, as well as other customization options.
A lightly textured finish provides a surface that is scratch resistant, while four Torx style screws ensure a tight, water-resistant assembly. An internally molded lip accepts either our strain relief or over molded cables.
Our 1000 series housing design is in use by some of the industry's top companies such as Bosch, Drew Technologies and Ford Motor Vehicles.
