For customers who have higher production quantities, AC3 developed the 1100 series. In an effort to reduce not only item costs, but assembly time as well the 1100 series is molded from a high quality ABS plastic that has built in clips for quick and simple fastening instead of screws.
While it has the same basic shape as the 1000 series, the 1100 series is slightly smaller which makes it more economical for straight through designs at the tradeoff of less internal space for electronics.
Recessed inserts that are molded into the housing allow for easy customization and branding opportunities while an internal lip secures our overmolded cables or strain reliefs.
Each connector kit contains:
- OBDII Connector housing - Crimp style
- Crimp Contacts (16)
- Shell Halves (2)
- Strain Relief
