The 1000 series is the product that started it all. Seeing the need for a well designed and high quality OBDII connector housing, Sensolutions put forth the effort and resources to create the markets most widely used housing design.
Made of a reinforced nylon that is chemically inert to many common workshop fluids, the 1000 series is an extremely durable and versatile housing that can be used for countless applications. Each connector kit is supplied with an OBDII connector, four fasteners and a generic circuit board. For improved cost efficiencies we also manufacture dedicated overmolded cabling that is designed exclusively for these housings.
Based on customer feedback for faster assembly and lower item cost we also introduced the 1100 series housing. For a reduction in item cost it is moulded from high durable ABS plastic, with integrated clips for fastening instead of screws. The 1100 series is compatible with both the preloaded solder style contacts or the crimp style for even faster assembly times.
