In an effort to create a very discrete OBDII housing, AC3 designed and manufactures the 3100 series right angle housings. Its low profile is perfect for data collection, straight through designs and other long term installations.
Eliminating the screw type fasteners and using integrated clips to secure the shell halves allows the internal strain relief to be omitted which opens up limited room for electronics. Due to the lack of the internal strain relief however, a dedicated over molded cable is needed to ensure durability and longevity of the cabling.
Like our larger housings, the 3100 series has two inserts that can be customized for branding with decals or engraving. ABS injection mold technology ensures a very long life product.
Each connector kit contains:
- OBDII Connector - Tin plated solder contacts
- Generic OBDII Circuit Board
- 3100 Shell Halves (2)
