Before the implementation of the standard OBDII connector Porsche used a round 19 Pin Diagnostic Connector in vehicles from 1989 through 1995.
Our 19 Pin Diagnostic Connector mates perfectly with the in car piece, and is molded from a specially engineered plastic that is extremely durable and resistant to most common workshop chemicals. PVC insulation keeps the cabling safe, while a female overmolded OBDII port allows OBDII scanners and OBDII software such as Durametrics to scan control modules in pre-1996 vehicles.
Compatible with all Porsche models from 1989 through 1995. This includes the 928, 944, 964, 968 and early 993 models.
